The Museum of the Siskiyou TrailTM will attract people from all over the country to come and hear stories about Dunsmuir's vanishing Native Americans, Gold Rush Forty-Niners, stagecoaches,
Black Bart, railroads ... and more!

This new Museum will have two parts -- an indoor part of the Museum will be in a historic building in downtown Dunsmuir, plus an outdoor part of the new Museum in a riverside park at Upper Soda Springs along the Sacramento River in north Dunsmuir (see above).
Visitors will be able to see exhibits, watch movies, listen to stories, and more at the indoor part in downtown Dunsmuir. They then will be able to visit the outdoor part of the Museum at Upper Soda Springs on the Sacramento River, and they will walk where Native Americans, Forty-Niners and railroad builders walked and lived more than a century ago ...
